As one of the world’s premium building products, Douglas fir (Doug Fir) lumber is prized for its straight grain patterns, high strength-to-weight ratios, dimensional stability and nail-holding power. The backbone of South Coast Lumber Co. for more than 50 years, we offer Doug Fir lumber in a range of sizes in both green (GDF) and kiln dried (KDDF) timbers.

The mill produces a variety of products and species. The most common species are Hem-Fir, White-Fir, Doug Fir and SPF. Studs are available in both Green and Kiln Dried although the bulk of production is dry.

Taiga has been a market leader in providing the building industry with their lumber requirements for over 30 years. We specialize in distributing Eastern and Western Canadian dimension SPF (Spruce, Pine, Fir), Douglas Fir, and Fir/Larch in LCL (less than car load) volumes.
